HAPPY INSIDE
CONCEPT
Welcome to the land of fruit juice. Created during our experience directing for creative collective Nakd (in Toronto), this treatment was our tribute to Coke happiness factory, fruit drink style. In the above concept board the characters are busy at work in each of their respective domains. The world itself exists inside a carton of fruit juice. We had a lot of fun exploring character ideas for this treatment and below are a few of our notes and thoughts.
In the heart of the city, the always active brain is kicking it up a notch. The brain is a really fun character who will bust out some crazy moves. Long arms and legs permit maximum dancing and animation potential. Pants, high-tops and other accessories help add personality. The Strawberry is a muscular character. He is busy at work laying bricks to reinforce the immune system. Super Blueberry is heroically perched on a cliff preparing to take flight and fight another day against free radicals. Alongside the hero characters, we thought it would be fun to populate the world with a range of secondary characters. These little guys are the worker bees.
